Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service with CleanMate Cleaning Services ("CleanMate"), accessing our website, or using our customer or staff portal, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

CleanMate provides professional cleaning services including (but not limited to): end of lease cleaning, regular domestic cleaning, window cleaning, oven cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, and garden maintenance throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

Services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Bookings and Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email from CleanMate
  • Prices quoted are estimates. Final pricing may vary based on property condition
  • For services requiring inspection, final pricing is confirmed after site assessment
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the property condition significantly differs from the description provided

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • 48+ hours notice: No cancellation fee
  • 24–48 hours notice: 50% of the booking fee
  • Less than 24 hours / no show: 100% of the booking fee
  • CleanMate may cancel or reschedule due to staff illness, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or alternative booking.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To enable us to deliver the best service, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time
  • Ensure pets are secured during the service
  • Disclose any hazards, fragile items, or special requirements before the service
  • Ensure adequate water and electricity are available
  • Remove or secure valuables and personal items

6. Payment

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept bank transfer (BSB/account), PayID, and card (when available)
  • Late payments (30+ days) may incur a 5% late fee
  • Dishonoured payments may attract bank fees passed on to the customer

7. Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-cleans

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the result, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a complimentary re-clean of the specific area(s) within 48 hours.

The re-clean guarantee applies to the specific scope of work agreed at booking. It does not apply to areas outside the agreed scope, damage pre-existing at time of service, or property condition that was not disclosed at booking.

8. Liability and Damage

  • CleanMate carries public liability insurance. Report any damage within 24 hours of service
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items not reported as fragile, or damage caused by pets or third parties
  • We are not liable for damage caused by faulty fixtures, fittings, or surfaces

9. Photos and Documentation

With your consent, our staff take before and after photos for quality assurance and dispute resolution. These are shared with you via your customer portal. You may opt out of photo documentation by requesting this before the service, though this may affect our ability to provide a re-clean guarantee.

Photos are retained for 12 months and are covered by our Privacy Policy.

10. GPS Tracking

During a service, customers may access real-time GPS location of their assigned cleaner via a secure tracking link. Location data is only collected during active jobs with staff consent and is deleted after the job is complete. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Portal Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Do not share your login details with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and portals — including text, images, logos, and software — is the property of CleanMate Cleaning Services and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without our written permission.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service. The current version is always available at cleanmatecleaning.com/terms. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
