How to use this checklist

Tick each item as it is completed. This checklist reflects CleanMate's professional standard for post construction cleaning. Print a copy for your records or share with your property manager.

Stage 1 — Rough Clean

Remove all construction rubbish and packaging

Vacuum all construction dust from floors and surfaces

Remove protective film and stickers from windows, appliances, fixtures

Sweep and clean all concrete, timber and tile floors

Clear all rooms of debris

Stage 2 — Detail Clean

Wipe all walls, skirting boards and architraves

Clean all windows internally — remove adhesive and stickers

Polish all glass surfaces

Clean inside all cupboards, drawers and shelving

Kitchen — benches, sink, appliances detailed

Bathrooms — tiles, grout, fixtures, mirrors

Ceiling fans, light fittings and vents

Remove cement haze from tiles (if applicable)

Remove paint spots from glass, fixtures and floors

Stage 3 — Final Polish

Polish all floors — tiles, timber, vinyl or polished concrete

Final vacuum of all carpets

All stainless steel fixtures polished

All mirrors and glass checked streak-free

Touch-up any missed areas

Walk-through inspection with site manager
